5 Ways to Meal Prep Properly
Recipes are fun until it’s a Wednesday night, and you’re too tired to take 30 minutes to cook dinner after work. We have all been there, especially all the moms out there who have to feed their littles ones separately! So I thought I would share 5 simple ways to meal prep easily and properly! Meal prepping doesn’t have to take long, or cause you any unnecessary stress. It’s there to help you so you can come home from work, and heat it up in 2 minutes, and have your dinner ready to devour! You're less likely to choose a not-so-great option, when you already have a healthy dinner at home, ready to go.
Things YOU need
Before you do anything, you're going to want to stock up on reusable, airtight food storage containers that will make your prepared ingredients or meals stay fresh longer and taste better by locking bacteria and odors out.
Pick a day to do your meal prepping.
Sunday and Wednesday are two common choices. Sundays are found to be the most popular since it’s the end of one week, and the beginning of prep for the next week. It’s the day of the week that holds the most basic of to-do’s on anyone’s to do list. Whether it’s your day for cleaning, or your day to relax, meal prepping doesn’t require much time, but will save you an abundance of time throughout the rest of the week!
